Favorite Fiction – Fantasy

IMG_7422-edits

Some of my favorite fantasy reads. A lot of these writers have heavily influenced my ideas of what a good book should be. Imaginative folklore and compelling villains. Worlds that unfold as beautifully as if they’re characters instead of places. Heroes and heroines who believe in themselves and put their talents to good use. Friendships that melt your heart, and humor that keeps you coming back when you need a good laugh.

Question of the Day: What are your favorite fantasy books to recommend to friends?

  1. My favourite fantasy books… Hobbit/LOTR and the Chronicles of Narnia always top my list. For more modern reads, I like Gregor the Overlander, How to Train Your Dragon, and Artemis Fowl. And there are probably more, but that’s what comes to mind right now. πŸ™‚

    1. Aw, How To Train Your Dragon was such a great series. I really enjoyed the books, and can’t wait to get my hands on Cressida Cowell’s new wizard book!

Ooh, I haven’t even heard of a couple of those, I’ll have to go check them out on Goodreads! Thanks for the recommendations. πŸ’›πŸ‰

      1. I liked Cowell’s Wizard of Once, although it’s not quite as good as How to Train Your Dragon. At least YET. We’ll see how the series shapes up.

I do hope you check out the other books. If you like them, please let me know! (If not, don’t ever tell me because you will break my heart.)
