Books are a big part of my life all year ’round, but kicking off summer with a reading challenge has always been my favorite tradition. There’s something about that first day with the A/C on that makes me wild for a trip to the library…
That being said, it’s a lot easier for me to stay focused when there’s some sort of incentive attached, which is why I decided to participate in Middle Grade Carousel‘s first official #BookADayMay challenge!

As a bonus, I was able to count some of my #BookADayMay reading toward my monthly book bingo, which earned me a quadruple bingo! I do believe that beats out my previous record.
What are your summer reading plans?
Nice list. I’ve read a few of them (Little Prince, Princess Sonora, Sunny Side Up, Flight of the Phoenix, etc.) but haven’t read the others. I will have to check out some of the ones you hearted!

Thank you! It felt good to get some classics off of my TBR pile. I can’t believe I’d never read The Little Prince before now!
