Tossing aside his pick, Ben winced when it clunked dully against some guy’s head. Not that the dead man could feel it. Judging by the snarl on the corpse’s rigid face, the last two things he’d felt were rage and a Philistine javelin through the chest.
It’s been a great summer of reading. In total, I’ve plowed through about 30 books in the last 3 months! I owe a lot of my success to the various reading challenges that went up this summer, mainly from #MGBookVillage and #MGCarousel.
In the far reaches of the universe, in the nurseries of galaxies, angels tread the vastness of space, leaving clouds of color and ribbons of light in their wake. These shepherds of stars tend tilting planets and sing with the suns… and listen for sneezes. Because that’s how newfoundlings give themselves away.
Little books can make a big impact. You can’t tell from the picture, but this little book is the cutest, tiniest thing and it has beautiful artwork and embellishments inside. The story is so sweet and sad. I fell for Koji all over again.
