Challenging yourself is one of the best ways to learn. Joining a challenge with other people can be a lot of fun. Like NaNoWriMo, for instance. But this challenge is pretty much the opposite of NaNoWriMo. If you couldn’t guess from the title, #50PreciousWords is a challenge to write an entire story, beginning, middle, and ending, in just 50 words. I took a shot.
Goodreads is a little corner of the internet especially for us readers. It makes it easier to track your reading, leave reviews, share your favorite books with friends, and find more books based on the ones you currently love. And they also run giveaways so that you can add more books to your ever-growing To Be Read pile! Here are two MG reads that I think are worth signing up for:
Cornelia Funke is one of my favorite authors. I was so excited when a friend of mine told me that the first book in her Reckless series was free today on Kindle. So I’m sharing the love. I’ve never read this series before, but I’m sure Cornelia Funke won’t disappoint!
