Mildew and Sponge attend the prestigious boarding school within Maudlin Towers, which is as boring as it is grotesque. But when the prized School Spoon goes missing, Mildew decides to put his detecting skills to the test, with Sponge close behind. Vikings, suspicious school masters, a ghost in the tower, and a series of secrets await them as they brave the mysterious and the unknown.
Less than a week left in my book a day challenge. In a way, I can’t believe it. Time really does fly when you’re having fun, and, with so many adventures and stories piling up around me, it feels a bit surreal that I’ve accomplished so much reading in so little time!

Question of the Day: What genres do you read when you need a break from the usual?
Books about food are some of my favorites. I blame being raised on Food Network, but, let’s be honest, you don’t have to know how to proof dough, mix up icing, or candy lemon peels to enjoy a story about sweets.
